Door-to-door travel
Compare the complete trip from the property to work: walking, transit connections, parking and the return journey. Test the route at the time you expect to use it.
GREATER TORONTO AREA
Start with your daily routine, then compare the properties that support it. A Toronto apartment, a townhouse and a detached home elsewhere in the GTA can solve very different needs.
LOCAL SEARCH STRATEGY
The GTA contains a wide range of neighbourhoods and property types. A search may include downtown or midtown Toronto, established residential neighbourhoods, condominium communities, and suburban markets outside the city. Rather than treating every area as interchangeable, we help clients narrow the search around the factors that matter to them.
We work with buyers, sellers, renters and investors across this broader service area and can help compare properties with relevant alternatives.
WHAT TO COMPARE
The right property has to work in the context of your budget, daily routine and longer-term plans.
Compare the complete trip from the property to work: walking, transit connections, parking and the return journey. Test the route at the time you expect to use it.
Put condominium fees, property maintenance, parking and storage beside the purchase price. Identify what is included before comparing two different ownership types.
Visit the street as well as the unit. Check deliveries, loading areas, evening noise and the practical distance to the services you use.
Compare room layouts, stairs, work-from-home space and outdoor access. A larger advertised floor area may not give you a better usable layout.
For a seller, compare properties with similar ownership type, size and location. A broad GTA average is not a substitute for relevant local comparables.
